I was beyond impressed with this dental office. They were helpful, friendly, and professional in every aspect. Most importantly, this place does it all including root canals, extractions and everything in-between. In the old days, your dentist did it all. I got tired of getting referred out for many of the procedures. Each additional visit would cost more because of another exam and another required set of X-rays. I was so happy in finding them that I actually started crying happy tears. It was a hard adjustment for me when our family dentist retired. Marysville Modern Dentistry really helped in my transition. A special thank you to Diana, Lacy, and John Popenoe DDS!

I've been going here for a few years now. Unfortunately, everytime I come here I'm introduced to a new dentist, new hygienist, and new front desk staff. The lack of continuity of care, in addition to the overbooking, is problematic in my opinion. The quality of the visit is hit or miss. I've had great visits where I felt well taken care of. Today was definitely the worst that I've had. The hygienist stabbed my gums several times and I kept flinching. I am diligent about flossing so I'm usually not very sensitive. It hurt enough that my body was tensing up and I felt tears come out. She was rushing and it felt sloppy and not like a thorough clean at all. Then, 30 minutes in to my appointment they are looking for the dentist. They eventually come to tell me that the dentist left. I have to come back in three months because I didn't get to see the dentist. I honestly went to my car and cried, because I felt like the cleaning I got was so pointless and unnecessarily painful and then on top of that I left work early and spent 45 minutes of my time to still not get to see the doctor. I'm trying to be fair in my rating, because I genuinely have had many good appointments. But today was really awful and I'm still trying to calm down from it. Edit: I am changing my review from 3 stars to 4 stars. The dental office has been very apologetic for my recent experience, and that is all I can really ask for. I appreciate how they have responded to my complaints.

I had some work done by Dr. Popenoe and Lacy. Both are amazing. Lacy is friendly and has an excellent bedside manner. Dr. Popenoe does such an awesome job. He's gentle, does fantastic dental work and has a geeat bedside manner and sense of humor. I highly recommend going to see this team for your dental needs. I can honestly say this is a dentist that I trust.
